moooi Boutique – Bridging the Gap

Its not quite custom and its not off the shelf – the new moooi Boutique line of upholstered sofas, armchairs, footstools and pouffes are stocked locally in their “naked” form, just waiting to be dressed in one of 15 moooi designed covers and 4 leg/base options.

There are several levels of appeal to this line – first and foremost, it is very comfortable. I sat in the sofa at last month’s CaBoom show. Second, although the covers are fully removable, they don’t look like it – they have been perfectly tailored and fit like a glove. Third, the 15 cover options are unique, stylish and interchangable. The literature also offers the option of COM if the available options won’t work for you. Not to be overlooked are the four foot options which are very distinct from one another.
